Antotnio Picado has dedicated himself to the art of guitar making for over 40 years. After his retirement, the guidance of Picado's workshop, based in Berga, near Barcelona, and its guitar-making traditions was taken over by the legendary Spanish luthier, Angel Genis. He especially devoted himself in building the top range models of Picado's label, which are known to be one of the best representations of Spanish guitar luthiery school.
This instrument is an interpretation of Antonio de Torres guitar from 1864, catalogued under number FE17. It was built personally by Angel Genis with a smaller scale - 630 mm. This makes it extremly comfortable to play. It has a spruce top and beautiful madagascar rosewood back and sides. The guitar is very resonant and was played in lower 430/435Hz tuning. The top has signs of use, small (not deep) scratches, which is normal ware with shellac finish. There is a small drop of some kind of glue, just behind the bridge. Other than that, the guitar is in perfect shape. Very collectible instrument!

Dzięki temu gra się na nim niezwykle wygodnie. Ma świerkowy top oraz piękny tył i boki z palisandru madagaskarskiego. Gitara jest bardzo dźwięczna, grano na niej w niższym stroju 430/435 Hz. Top nosi ślady użytkowania w postaci drobnych rys, co należy uznać za normalne w przypadku wykończenia politurą. Tuż za mostkiem znajduje się niewielka kropla kleju. Poza tym gitara jest w idealnym stanie. Instrument kolekcjonerski!
